Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website, are governed by the law of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts sitting in Cook County, Illinois.

If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales.

Where we have accepted an engagement, the governing law and jurisdiction clauses of that engagement letter apply to the matter and take precedence over this section.

If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
